What we can learn from MMA

The former UFC fighter Cyrille Diabaté once said :

No matter how hard you prepare for a fight, how hard you sparrings are, this is not the fight. The fight is something completely different, the fight is the unknown.

The only real test is the battle test

The ultimate and the only real test for your application is the production.

It doesn’t mean all different kinds of tests are unecessary, who would be crazy enough to enter into that octagon without any proper preparation ?!

It means you can only be sure your application is strong enough to do the job once it has been battle tested.
